225 Logistique LLC - Shipping Disclaimer

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

By using our services, you agree to ALL terms stated below. We do not accept any excuses for not reading these terms. Reading and understanding these conditions protects both you and 225 Logistique LLC.

MARITIME SHIPPING DEADLINE

To guarantee space for your load in the container, we must receive it no later than DECEMBER 15TH, 2025.

Any loads dropped off after this date will only be accepted based on available space and cannot be guaranteed placement in the container.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS

  • • Full payment is required upon receipt of your packages.
  • • Orders will only be processed once payment is confirmed.
  • • We do not offer "Cash on Delivery" services.
  • • If customer decides to pay in Abidjan, we charge at DJAMO rate.
  • • Transaction fees (Credit/Debit Cards from 3% + 30¢) will be added to all financial transactions.
  • • Customer can only pay invoice using: Debit/Credit Card, Cheque, or Bank-to-Bank transfer.
  • • NO ZELLE, NO CASHAPP TRANSFER.
  • • American Express transactions have higher fees.

BARREL/DRUMS & TOTES PRICING

Due to limited space inside 40-foot containers, drums occupy significantly more volume compared to totes. We encourage the use of totes with the same volume as drums.

  • • Totes: Same price as drums - no change in cost.
  • • Drums: New pricing applies to account for increased space and shipping costs.
  • • Barrels and Boxes prices are for used items and new merchandise valued at $3,000 or less.
  • • Maximum weight per container (Barrel, Box, Tote) must be 330 LBS. If heavier, use another container.

PAYMENT ADJUSTMENT

Our shipping prices are FINAL for loads less than or equal to $5,000 and no additional fees are required in Abidjan, UNLESS:

  • • Air Shipping: Ivorian Customs finds items hidden by customers to avoid U.S. charges.
  • • Maritime Shipping: Ivorian Customs finds high-value items hidden or not declared in the U.S. while filling the form.

VERY VERY IMPORTANT - PROHIBITED ITEMS

DO NOT PUT ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IN ANY CONTAINER (Box, Tote, Barrel, Suitcase):

  • ❌ Any amount of MONEY
  • ❌ Firearms & Ammunition
  • ❌ Drugs & Illegal substances
  • ❌ Tasers & Weapons
  • ❌ Explosives
  • ❌ Animal Products
  • ❌ Perishable Goods
  • ❌ Expensive Items (undeclared)
  • ❌ Toxic & Flammable Products
  • ❌ Important Documents
  • ❌ Perfume/Cologne (Air only)
  • ❌ Illegal Items

We completely decline responsibility if U.S. Customs seizes them and YOUR INFORMATION (ID/PASSPORT) WILL BE PROVIDED TO U.S. CUSTOMS.

NOT ALLOWED IN BARREL/DRUMS, BOX, TOTE

For easier management, it is FORBIDDEN to put the following inside Barrel, Box, or Tote:

TV, Rice Bags, Water Packs, Computer Central Unit, Generator, Tent, Alcohol, Heavy Auto Parts

Barrels are only for: Old/used clothes, handbags, snack food, shoes.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - AVOID BOXES

PLEASE AVOID USING BOXES AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. The risk of item damage is VERY HIGH.

We recommend using TOTES instead. 225 Logistique declines any responsibility for fragile items damaged due to container movement on the ocean.

AIR SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

  • • We do NOT ship Perfume, Cologne, Fragrance, Scent, Eau de Toilette by AIR.
  • • These items CAN be shipped by Maritime Cargo.
  • • We only work with whole numbers for air shipping weight (0.1-0.9 lbs = 1 LB).

CANCELLATION FEES

  • • Air Shipping: Customer will still be charged after 24-hour parcel air shipping cancellation.
  • • General: If you cancel after payment, a 10% cancellation fee applies.

INSURANCE - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Insurance is essential to safeguard against transportation risks, theft, supply chain disruptions, and geopolitical situations.

WHAT HAPPENS IF CUSTOMER DECLINES LOAD INSURANCE:

When customer loads inside box, barrel, tote, suitcase, furniture, appliance, TV etc. are damaged due to container movement, loading/unloading, U.S. Customs checking, theft, or loss - 225 Logistique will COMPLETELY DECLINE payment/reimbursement of shipping cost and load value.

DELIVERY TIMES & DELAYS

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: WE DON'T TRAVEL WITH LOADS. Loads might be delayed by U.S. Customs checks.

  • • Maritime: 2-3 MONTHS delivery timeframe
  • • Air Freight: 3-5 business days
  • • Delays may occur due to: Technical issues, U.S. Customs detention, strikes, holidays, worldwide issues, or sailing date changes.

IF YOU HAVE: Delivery urgency, deadline to meet, customer order, loads for holidays/ceremony/events/sale/personal use/health reason - WE RECOMMEND SHIPPING EARLIER OR USING AIR SHIPPING.

We do NOT offer compensation or discount if a container is late in delivery.

U.S. CUSTOMS INSPECTION

If U.S. Customs detains the container for inspection, CHARGES WILL BE SHARED BY MARITIME CUSTOMERS.

LOADS INSPECTION & PHOTOS

  • • 225 Logistique reserves the right to inspect any loads to detect illegal or dangerous shipments.
  • • We will NOT accept containers already sealed/locked without providing pictures of the content.
  • • IMPORTANT: Make sure you completely list your items and make ALL of them visible in pictures.
  • • Any article NOT listed and NOT visible in uploaded pictures CANNOT be considered missing - refund claims will be COMPLETELY DECLINED.

STORAGE FEES

  • • Loads must be picked up within 1 week if customer decides not to ship.
  • • Storage fee: $25 to $250 per day depending on space occupied.
  • • Cars must be picked up next business day - storage fee $40 to $250 per day.
  • • After 3 weeks or abandonment, loads will be collected by auction companies.
  • • In Abidjan: Customer has 1 week to collect loads. After 1 week, storage fees apply.

DELIVERY & PICKUP IN ABIDJAN

WE DO NOT MAKE DELIVERY IN ABIDJAN. IT IS THE COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER TO PICK UP THEIR LOAD.

Any agreement between customer and a local agent/employee for delivery is NOT endorsed by 225 Logistique - we decline any responsibility in case of loss.

Maritime Shipping: Pick up at YOPOUGON. Call +225-25-22-01-84-16 for directions.

Air Shipping: Pick up at ANGRE office, by IMMEUBLE ADDOHA.

LOAD SECURITY

  • • Fill out the Disclaimer Form before dropping off loads.
  • • Customer is responsible for using high-quality containers and protecting loads (tape, wrap, lock).
  • • Unprotected/unpackaged loads are NOT allowed (electronics out of boxes, etc.).
  • • 225 Logistique does NOT manipulate customer loads.

FOR CUSTOMERS USING OUR ADDRESS

To avoid shipping price misunderstanding, DO NOT PURCHASE MERCHANDISE ONLINE before 225 Logistique provides you a quote/price range and approval.

CONTAINER TRACKING - GROUPAGE CUSTOMERS

After container loading, check our social media (Facebook, Instagram) for container movement updates until final destination. Please check social media BEFORE calling for updates.

PICKUP SERVICE

If you cannot drop off your load or we don't have a drop-off location in your state, we can send a UPS agent to pick up your load.

LEGAL DECLARATION & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I HEREBY TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTENTS OF MY LOADS, including any responsibility arising from the illegality, lawlessness, or dangerousness of the goods owned and controlled by me as defined by the laws of each country involved in the export of my goods.

I certify that I own, control, and maintain the goods and the container that contains the goods and that I have sufficiently inspected them before conveying them to 225 Logistique, LLC. I certify that the goods are in full compliance with all governmental, regulatory, and other requirements under any applicable law and that there are no drugs, contraband, dangerous goods, nor are the goods associated with any illegal or criminal activities.

I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, whether criminal or civil, arising out of the illegality, lawlessness, or dangerousness of the described goods during transportation: 225 Logistique LLC and/or its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents.

I INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the entities or persons mentioned from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of any illegal or criminal goods. In the event that the goods are found illegal, I shall take full responsibility and liability as detailed above.
